Picture 1: Chinese (Mandarin) character for 'peace'
Picture 2: Old man pushing cart full of funeral wreaths
Picture 3: A old, tiny curio shop in Chinatown.
Picture 4: The Fish section of a small grocery store in Chinatown

I spent Easter Sunday in Chinatown. It was nice. I used to hate going to Chinatown/Flushing. I thought it was too crowded and chaotic and people annoyed me, but now it doesn't bother me anymore. If I was a more excellent photographer, I would have made everything around the old man clear and sharply in focus and only the flowers be a blur of color OR the exact opposite. The Fish picture is blurry because I felt rushed taking a picture in that cramped store. The man working behind the counter kept repeatedly saying hi to me in a monotonous voice. As I was aiming my camera, I hear: "hi....... hello........ hi....." YES???? Whaddya want??? I had wanted that picture to be perfectly symmetrical. But; yes: rushed. -_-

In other news, first day of the new job was great! I also found out I got the summer camp counselor job I wanted with my old employer - the YMCA at P.S. 120! Maybe I will see some of the same kids I used to work with!
